UNIDIR maintains a detailed database
of our activities and publications, past and present. Use the simple
search to quickly find a subject, title, author or researcher. The
simple search function will return results in both publications
and activities.
The advanced search function allows a more refined
search, including by date and language, in either the publications
database or the activities database.
Search tips:
- Please note that currently the search function
is language sensitive.
- The search is an "and" type search. If your search
term is "fissile materials", you will receive results
that include both the term "fissile" and "materials",
but not necessarily found together or in the same order.
- Placing the search term in quotation marks will
return exact matches only.
- The character "%" is a 'wild card'. Therefore,
searching for the word "peacekeep%" would produce results
including the words "peacekeeping" and "peacekeeper".
- Search terms are not case sensitive.
- Results of searches with general terms such as
"disarmament", "arms control" and "proliferation"
will only include instances where these terms are used in the
title of a publication or in the name of an activity. These types
of general terms are not used as keywords.
- Do not use hyphens.
