UNIDIR carries out forward-looking research projects
in all three overlapping areas of our research programme: global
security, regional security and human security.
Our research projects are designed to examine arms
control and disarmament issues in innovative and creative ways and
to provide decision-makers with specific policy recommendations.
UNIDIR's research analyses issues of immediate or
future concern to the peace and security community and stimulates
initiatives for new approaches to ending conflict.
