The United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) is pleased to invite you to a lunchtime symposium, the third in a series of events the Institute is hosting on the upcoming five-yearly Review conference of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) in New York.
At this event Mr. Robert Einhorn, a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institute and former senior official from the United States Department of State, will present analysis from his forthcoming UNIDIR paper, The 2020 NPT Review Conference: Prepare for Plan B.
Mr. Einhorn’s presentation will be followed by remarks in response from Ms. Gaukhar Mukhatzhanova, Director of the International Organizations and Non-Proliferation Program at the James Martin Center for Non-Proliferation Studies, and who is based at the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non- Proliferation.
The panel will be moderated by Dr. Renata Dwan with a question and answer session with the audience to follow.
Sandwiches and light refreshments will be available prior to the start of the event.
