Soft Launch of the UNIDIR Artificial Intelligence Policy Portal

The United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) and the Delegation of the European Union to the UN and Other International Organisations in Geneva welcome you to the soft launch of the UNIDIR Artificial Intelligence Policy Portal (AI Policy Portal).

Building on the success of the UNIDIR Cyber Policy Portal, UNIDIR Security & Technology Programme is developing an AI Policy Portal to support transparency, information sharing, confidence, and capacity-building in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Portal will gather available information at the national, regional, and international levels on policies, processes, and structures that are relevant to the development and use of AI for military purposes.

As part of the development of the AI Policy Portal, the UNIDIR Security and Technology Programme and the Delegation of the European Union to the UN and Other International Organisations in Geneva are organizing an event to introduce the tool and showcase its structure. During the event, the Member States will be presented with a survey that will allow them to contribute to the completion of their national profiles.
