Francesca is a Graduate Professional with the Conventional Arms Programme at UNIDIR. Her research interests focus on the nexus between conflict prevention, protection of civilians and arms control. Prior to joining UNIDIR, Francesca worked at International Crisis Group, International Peace Institute as well as the International Committee of the Red Cross in Pretoria, South Africa. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Francesca speaks English, French and Italian.
