Ruben Nicolin is an Associate Researcher in the Conventional Arms and Ammunition Programme. His areas of work include developing tools for small arms control and conducting research on international cooperation and assistance as well as national reporting.

Before joining UNIDIR, Ruben worked with the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) on dual use and arms trade control as an intern. He graduated from the Graduate Institute Geneva with a Master’s degree in Development Studies and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Governance from the University of Freiburg.

Ruben speaks German, English, and Norwegian.
